25th anniversary of Kodenkan Yudanshakai 25TH ANNIVERSARY of the Kodenkan Yudanshakai organization held in Tucson, Arizona.  Seated from left to right are; Sensei Roy A.V. Holck (founder of the Kodenkan of Tucson. which eventually turned into the Kodenkan Yudanshakai.  Next to him is the late Professor David Nuuhiwa from Hawaii,  and in the center is now Dai-Shihan Joseph Holck, the late Professor Sig Kufferath (in black) and O-Sensei Glenn Medici
The 1990 Ohana celebration included the appearance of some of the top instructors from the Okazaki tradition.

The original Kodenkan 1957 on Hawaii

This photo shows the Kodenkan class with instructors Jack Wheat and Joe Holck. Also in this photo (to the left of Dai-Shihan Joe Holck) are the late Professor Sig Kufferath and Hachiro Okazaki.  The two children holding the Professor's portrait are his grandsons.

The Late Professor William Montero, the first Dai-Shihan to the Kodenkan Yudanshakai organization.  Professor Montero was also, Dai-Shihan Joseph Holck's brother-in-law, as Sensei Amy Holck was his sister.
The late Professor Carl Beaver, who was responsible for much of the Seifukujitsu that was transmitted to this dojo.  This dojo has a great indebtedness to this man for his willingness to share his knowledge with us.
This picture has the late Professor Kufferath (seated) and Dai-Shihan Joseph Holck (standing) receiving his instructors scrolls.  Dai-Shihan also received his Mokuroku, teaching scrolls from Professor Okazaki in 1949
