Kirk Jaeger, Sensei  began studying with Barry T. Holck, Sensei, now Shihan in 1972 in Shorin Ryu Karate. He founded the Scottsdale High School Karate-Kai in 1973, later called the Tri-City Karate Kai and eventually Phoenix Kodenkan  in the Phoenix Metropolitan area, where he teaches Shorin-Ryu Karate and Danzan-Ryu Jujitsu today.

We realize that this biography is brief, however it is consistent with the wishes of Jaeger, Sensei.
